FAQ - General questions

Between what times are the barriers open?

From opening season (late March/early April) to October, the barriers are open daily from 6:30 am to 11:00 pm. From October through opening season, the barrier is closed.

Until what time may RVers arrive?

You may arrive until 8 p.m.

I am not in the campground but want to come and play miniature golf, is that possible?

Of course! People who are not camping and still want to come and play mini-golf pay €3 per person. Are you with a large group? Then ask for the group discount!

Is there wifi at the campsite?

Yes, wireless internet is available all over the campsite. With our free wifi, you can share vacation photos and keep up with your mail. For faster internet, we also offer a paid network. This way you will always stay connected.

What about sleep and rest periods?

We value the sleep of our guests. Between 11 p.m. and 7 a.m. we ask everyone to be quiet so that you and your fellow guests can enjoy a good night's sleep.

Can we rent bikes at the campground?

Absolutely! We rent both regular bikes and e-bikes. You can easily rent them via the following link: https://en.eurocampingvessem.nl/facilities/bicycle-and-pedal-go-kart-rental

What are the opening hours of the pool and other facilities?

Our swimming pool is open from mid-May to August 31. The current opening times of the pool and other facilities can be found in our camping app. So you are always up to date.

Do you have charging stations for electric cars?

Yes, we have six charging stations:

  • Two in the parking lot
  • Four at the dumpster (across from the animals)

For your and others' safety, you are not allowed to charge your car from your pitch or accommodation.

Can anyone stay with us at the campsite?

Lodgers are most welcome! Upon arrival, they report to the reception desk. The cost is € 7.00 per person per night, including tourist tax and access to all facilities. Their car can be parked for free in our parking lot.

Are friends or family coming to visit?

Cozy! Visitors are most welcome. They report to the reception desk for a day ticket of €2.50 per person. Visitors may use all facilities except the swimming pool. A separate ticket is available for entrance to the swimming pool. Children up to 2 years old are free of charge. Your visitor's car can be parked for free in our parking lot.

Is there a restaurant at the campground?

Although we do not have a restaurant, you can visit our cafeteria for a tasty snack. In addition, a pizza food truck comes by once or twice a week during the summer.

Are electric scooters and similar modes of transportation allowed?

For the safety of all our guests, electric scooters, fatbikes, hoverboards, oxboards and motorized quads are not allowed on the campground. However, electric bikes are welcome, provided you keep to the maximum speed of 5 km/h.

Are there washers and dryers at the campground?

Yes, in the sanitary building opposite the animals you will find:

  • Two washing machines (€ 6.50 per wash, soap is added automatically)
  • Two dryers (operate on € 0.50 and € 1.00 coins)

Payment by pin is not possible at the moment.

I have lost something. Where can I turn to?

Annoying to hear! Lost and found items are kept at the front desk. For lost items in the pool, please check the picnic table at the pool entrance.

Can I have mail delivered to the campground?

Sure, letter mail can be picked up and sent through the front desk. Packages are also delivered to the reception. Always include your last name and pitch on the (package) mail. Please note that packages are your own responsibility and we ask that you pick them up the same day.

Do you rent refrigerators?

We don't rent refrigerators ourselves, but you can contact Fun Tim Party Rental in Knegsel at 040-21. 1They will be happy to help.

Are drones allowed in the campground?

To ensure the privacy and safety of all our guests, drones are not allowed on the campground. In addition, we are located in an area where recreational flying with drones is prohibited due to the proximity of Eindhoven Airport.

Can we do group camping?

Yes, groups are most welcome! Please contact our reception to discuss the possibilities. We are happy to think with you for a successful stay.

Does the campground have facilities for the disabled?

Our cafeteria has a restroom for the disabled, accessible during business hours. We are working on more facilities in the future. 

Can I pay by credit card?

At the reception you can pay with cash or debit card. Credit cards are not currently accepted.

Is there a water slide at the campsite?

The deep pool (with a depth of 1.20 to 1.40 meters) has a family slide. This slide is suitable for shared use and provides extra water fun for the whole family.

Important information:

  • Children with a swimming certificate may use the slide independently.
  • Children without a swimming certificate may only use the slide under adult supervision.
  • Children without a swimming certificate must wear mandatory flotation devices.

Payment and reservation

How do I pay for my vacation?

You can easily pay for your vacation in two installments. The first installment is 50% of the total amount and must be paid within 14 days of booking. The remaining amount must be paid no later than 42 days before arrival. This gives you plenty of time to make your payment.

How can I see which pitches are still free?

It is currently not possible to view available spaces through our website. We advise you to contact our reception desk; we will be happy to discuss the possibilities.

Can I choose a specific pitch or accommodation when making my reservation?

Yes, you can! You can indicate your preference in the comments field of your reservation. We do our best to take this into account, but cannot always guarantee it. Please feel free to contact reception to discuss your requirements.

I made a reservation through the website, but haven't received a confirmation yet. What should I do?

Did you make a reservation but did not receive a confirmation after one day? Check that your e-mail address is correct and see if our e-mail ended up in your spam folder. If in doubt, please contact us at info@eurocampingvessem.nl or call 0497-59 12 14. We will be happy to help you!

How does it work if I want to reserve multiple pitches or accommodations at the same time?

Nice that you want to come with a group! We encourage you to contact our reception desk by email or phone. Together we can arrange the best spots for your party.

Can I change my reservation after booking?

Of course, we understand that plans may change. Changes are possible, subject to availability. Please contact us as soon as possible and we will look at the possibilities together.

Cancel

I need to cancel my vacation. How does that work?

We are sorry to hear that you have to cancel your stay. If you have a cancellation fund with us, you can cancel your vacation upon presentation of an official statement, such as a doctor's certificate. Do you have your own cancellation insurance? If so, please contact your insurance company.

If you do not have a cancellation fund or insurance, we apply the RECRON conditions with fixed cancellation percentages. The closer to the arrival date you cancel, the higher the percentage that will be charged. For more information you can always contact us; we are at your service.

Entertainment and facilities

What facilities are there for children?

Children will not be bored for a moment! Among other things, we offer:

  • Various playground equipment
  • A paddling pool and two swimming pools, one with a family slide
  • Miniature golf course
  • Bicycle cross-country track (sand)
  • Sports fields: soccer field, cage soccer field and panna field
  • Tennis court (gravel)
  • Fishing pond
  • An extensive entertainment program with sports, games, crafts and treasure hunts

When is there entertainment at the campground?

Our enthusiastic animation team is present during the following Dutch vacations:

  • Easter
  • May holiday*
  • Ascension
  • Pentecost
  • Summer vacation

*Note: Some schools have different vacations. During these periods our animation team is not present.

Camping

What are the arrival and departure times?

Motorhome sites in front of the campsite

  • Arrival from 1 p.m.
  • Departure before noon

Camping and comfort(plus) pitches

  • Arrival from 2 p.m.
  • Departure before 12:00 pm

Pitches with private sanitary facilities

  • Arrival from 14:00 pm
  • Departure before 11:00 am

May I arrive earlier than the arrival time?

In consultation, sometimes more is possible. Please contact our front desk; we are happy to think with you!

Can I book a late check-out?

If your pitch is still available, you can stay longer for a fee. Inquire at the reception for the possibilities.

Are the showers free?

To use our showers, you pay €1.00 for 5 minutes of showering pleasure. You can pay with € 1.00 coins. Don't have any change? At the reception we are happy to help you.

Do you accept discount cards at the campground?

Yes, we accept the ACSI and ANWB Camping Key Card/ADAC. These are not valid during Ascension, Pentecost and the summer vacations. When booking you can indicate that you are in possession of one of these cards; the discount will be applied immediately. Remember to show your discount card upon arrival.

How many amps of electricity do the pitches have?

  • Camping and comfort pitches: 6 amps (1350 watts)
  • Comfortplus and RV sites in front of the campsite: 10 amps (2300 watts)

So you can use your electrical appliances with ease during your stay.

May I enter the campground with two cars?

One car is allowed per pitch. A second car can be parked free of charge in our general parking lot.

How big is my pitch?

  • Pitches are 100 m² on average
  • Comfortplus pitches offer extra space with an average of 110 m²

Is there television coverage on my pitch?

There is no CAI connection, but you can of course use digital means such as a laptop or tablet with Internet connection.

What does a comfort pitch mean?

A comfort pitch offers:

  • 6 ampere electricity

Own water connection and drainage

What does a comfortplus pitch offer extra?

A comfortplus pitch offers:

  • 10 ampere electricity

So you can enjoy even more convenience during your stay.

Are dogs allowed in the campground?

Your faithful four-legged friend is most welcome! Provided it is leashed, a maximum of two dogs are allowed per pitch.

Are barbecues allowed?

Certainly, barbecuing is part of vacation fun! Always have a bucket of water or sand handy for safety and place the barbecue well away from trees and bushes. Open flames are strictly prohibited.

Can I put a tarp in the (front) tent?

A tarp is allowed in the awning. To keep the grass beautiful, we ask that you do not use plastic, tarps or root cloth under the awning. However, a grass-permeable mat is allowed here.

Do you have seasonal sites available?

Yes, we have special fields for seasonal pitches, which you can enjoy from April 1 to October 1. Our seasonal sites are equipped with 6 amp electricity. For availability and options, please contact our reception in mid-August. We will be happy to inform you!

Accommodations

Are dogs allowed in the accommodations?

A maximum of two leashed dogs are welcome in our safari tents. In our chalets, pets are not allowed. 

Can we rent a crib and high chair?

Yes, you can easily add a crib and/or high chair while booking.

Do I have to pay a deposit for the accommodation?

We require a security deposit, which will be returned to you within one week of departure, provided the accommodation is left clean and tidy.

What is included in the safari tents and chalets?

Our accommodations are fully equipped with:

  • Kitchen utensils, plates and cutlery
  • Comfortable seating
  • Comforters and pillows (linen not included as standard)

In our chalets it is mandatory to book sheet sets. In our safari tents, this is optional. For extra comfort, you can also rent a towel package.

Are the accommodations heated?

  • Our chalets are equipped with heating
  • In our safari tents there is a small heater for the less warm months.

So you are always assured of a pleasant stay.

How many people can stay in the accommodations?

  • Duo Lodge (safari tent): maximum 2 persons
  • Other safari tents and chalets: suitable for 4, 6 or 7 persons
